Mary Ellen was the Arts
Director Special Services (civilian) U. S. Army She obtained a
9-month VSA grant called The Fabric of Life for providing
A Silk Art Experience to the patients and staff at
Moffitt Cancer Hospital and she has obtained several grants for
teaching art at the Shriner’s Hospital. She is listed in
Who’s Who of American Woman. In 2003, she received another
VSA Grant to provide art experiences to the children at the
Shriners’ Hospital on the grounds of USF. |
